Cookie Preferences

Cookie Preferences

This page explains the cookies we use and gives you control over which ones run on your visit.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your browser. They let sites remember you between visits, keep you logged in, and measure how the site is used. Some are necessary for basic functionality. Others are optional.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the site to work. They handle things like keeping items in your cart, processing checkout, and remembering your cookie preferences. You can't turn these off because the site won't function without them.

Examples: Shopify session cookies, cart cookies, checkout cookies.

Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. They tell us which pages are most visited, how people navigate the site, and where things are confusing. The data is aggregated and doesn't identify individual users.

Examples: Shopify analytics, Google Analytics.

Marketing cookies

These cookies help us show you relevant ads on other sites and measure how well our marketing is working. If you've ever clicked an ad and ended up on our site, these cookies help us understand which ads brought you here.

Examples: Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel.

Manage your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time. Click the button below to open the preferences panel.

[Manage Cookie Preferences button — opens your cookie consent app's panel]

You can also clear cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, accept only certain types, or delete existing cookies. The links below explain how:

- Safari: Apple's cookie management guide
- Chrome: Google's cookie management guide
- Firefox: Mozilla's cookie management guide
- Edge: Microsoft's cookie management guide

What happens if you reject optional cookies

The site will still work. You'll be able to browse, add to cart, and check out as normal. The differences:

- We won't be able to measure how you use the site, so we won't get the data we use to improve it
- You may see less relevant ads on other sites
- We won't be able to attribute your visit to specific marketing campaigns

Your statutory rights

Under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, you have the right to:

- Withdraw consent at any time
- Be informed about what cookies are running
- Reject non-essential cookies without affecting access to the site

This page exists to help you exercise those rights.

Questions?

If you have questions about how we use cookies or about your data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy or email hello@soavella.com.
